I have been grateful Declan isn't a very popular name. The likelihood of actually running into a little Declan isn't much. However, Hollywood certainly likes his name. I watched two movies lately with the name. Last night I was watching a movie, that I really didn't like, and I was just laying in bed watching the movie when a character was introduced as, "Declan."
My heart stopped beating momentarily, I swear, and I felt sick. It was a really crappy character. My heart hurt...I hate when his name is used for moronic people on TV.I was grateful the character wasn't in the movie long.
I was also in the library last Saturday and stood scanning the audio books. My eyes stopped on "Declan." I stared at the word for longer than I should have. Finally I picked it up to investigate it. It was about a movie director, "Declan." It was about Northern Ireland and Ireland's "issues."
Since the name is Irish, I am grateful I don't live in Ireland or I might hear it more often than I would like.
I was doing really good today, but then my heart started hurting pretty bad. I am struggling to recover my mood. I'm sitting here listening to Mindy Gledhill's "Anchor" CD. I quite like it. It makes me feel a little better.
At least my sad mood helped me clean my house. :) It needed it desperately.
